Organize the Home screen on your Galaxy phone or tablet

Everyone loves a comfy and make clean home - and that applies to your phone and tablet equally well. You can customize and style your Home screen by changing the screen orientation or adding widgets, folders, and actress Habitation screens. Information technology will make your device more organized and like shooting fish in a barrel to navigate.

By default, Galaxy phones and tablets are set to Auto rotate and then the device will automatically adjust its brandish way based on how you are holding it.

Tap Auto rotate; the device will now be locked in Landscape way. To go back to Auto rotate, simply tap Landscape in the Quick settings panel.

• If needed, you tin can add more Home screens to your phone or tablet. It's a great way to organize all your apps and folders. Tap and hold an empty expanse on your Home screen, then swipe left until you achieve a blank Home screen, and then tap the Add together icon to create a new screen. To remove an extra Dwelling screen, swipe to that screen, and and so tap the Delete icon. Tap Delete once again to confirm.

The bottom row on your Home screen is reserved for your favorite app shortcuts. You tin remove these shortcuts and add together new ones if you'd similar to change up your Home screen.

1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the app shortcut you'd like to remove or replace.

2. Side by side, elevate it to another office of the screen. Or, tap Remove to remove the shortcut from the Dwelling screen. You'll still be able to access the app from the Apps screen.
